The University Choir is the cornerstone choral ensemble at Bucknell, comprised of 50-60 members, and including students, faculty and staff from across the campus community. Performing a diverse repertoire drawn from the last seven centuries, the University Choir presents concerts of a cappella and accompanied works each academic semester at venues across the Bucknell Campus. With support from the Department of Music and the Weis Center for the Performing Arts, residencies with ensembles such as Lorelei Ensemble, Roomful of Teeth, Tallis Scholars, and Bucknell’s own Bach Quintet, present unique opportunities for members of the choirs to actively participate in contemporary music culture through performance and discussion with professional musicians.
