The Golden Quill Honorary Award was established by the Classic FM Radio and Makta Gallery in 1995. Since its inception, this award has been given to a number of renowned Bulgarian musicians, artists, and writers, including Ghena Dimitrova, Ivan Andonov, Nevena Kokanova, Stefan Dimitrov, Vasil Naydenov, Raina Kabaivanska, Stoyanka Mutafova, Mila Georgieva, and Maxim Eshkenazy, among many others.
