The Harvard-Westlake Chamber Singers have maintained a sterling reputation for vocal excellence throughout Southern California. The Chamber Singers also enjoy the challenge of premiering new works and performing modern choral music. Recently the choir was heard in performances of 20th and 21st century works from celebrated American composers such as Moses Hogan, Morten Lauridsen, David N. Childs, Kirke Mechem, René Clausen, Morten Lauridsen, Eric Whitacre, Robert H. Young, and Eric William Barnum among others.
In the past thirteen years, the Chamber Singers have toured California, Hawaii, the Pacific Northwest, throughout the Southern, Midwestern and Eastern United States, Eastern Canada, Great Britain, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden, and Estonia. The choir has been featured in performances at Carnegie Hall, St. Martin in the Fields, the American Church in Paris, the Académie Gabriel Fauré de Louveciennes, The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, and with the Los Angeles Jewish Symphony.
